Ingredients
- 3 cooked halves of potato
- yorkshire pudding mix
- oil
- seasonal veg
- gravy powder
Equipment
- Tart tin (I provide this)
- Chopping board
- Potato peeler
- Dishcloth – very important! Children need to clean…
- Tea-towel
- Tupperware
Method
Make some Yorkshire pudding mix and rest in the fridge – this will already be made for the session.
Pop a drizzle of oil in each segment of the tart tin. Put in the oven to heat for a few minutes.
Take the tart tin out of the oven and put a dollop of Yorkshire pudding in 3 of the 6 depressions. Add a cooked potato to the other three spaces and quickly turn them over so they are covered in oil. Cook in the oven for 20-35 minutes, checking to see when cooked.
Prepare seasonal veg and put on the stove to boil (10-20 minutes depending on veg), or steam.
When everything is cooked, remove the veg from the pan and use the water to make gravy by sprinkling gravy granules into the water and stirring.
